I havent been able to work out in 3 days. Im dying over here!
I hurt my shoulder, i think i pulled a muscle, but since there are so many arm moves in the 30ds, i figured i should take a break, before i make it worse.

Also, my knees are KILLING me. It was only 1 for a while, so i worked through it. But yesterday when i tried to work out ( when i realized i hurt my shoulder) i was doing the jumping jacks, and the insides of both knees were throbbing. I dont know what i did, but i somehow manages to screw up my whole body, lol.

SO im taking a mini break. Still trying to eat good but just not working out at the moment and loading up on Ibprofin.

Awww feel better soon! It's always best to listen to your body and I think you're absolutely right for taking a break! I find when I'm feeling sore something low impact usually helps. Have you tried pilates at all? It's all floor work and no hard impact on the joints. It really helps tone as well! I am addicted to Winsor Pilates. I've tried other pilate workouts but I didn't really like them as they felt a lot more complicated than the Winsor series!

Take a break momma. Do you do your own stretching before you start 30DS? I don't think the 30 seconds they do on the DVD is nearly enough. Get better soon!

Ah, you poor mama! Definitely take a break and let your body heal for a few days. Then you can come roaring right back.

I hurt my knees the other week and had a hard time even walking on the treadmill at the gym. I happened to mention it to one of the gym trainers and she pressed hard on the outside of my thigh and asked if it hurt (about 6 inches above me knee on my outside thigh)? I said yes. She said the main reason for knees hurting is because of that muscle tightening up. As a solution she told me to lay on my side and roll on a hard foam roller that they have at the gym to help loosen up the muscles. So I lay on my side and roll over it-it hurts like a you-know-what! And then I turn and roll on my other side. It has really helped!

I don't know what you could use at home but that's what worked for me. She said it's a very common problem and that's how you can fix it.

Try googling "gym foam roller" and you can see what they look like. I thought it was strange but it worked great!
