We went with a ladybug theme and it's super cute! I made the bedding myself this time and think it turned out pretty nice. DH even said it looked nice! That's something right there! The walls are kind of OMG pink! Almost like a bottle of Pepto exploded in there... But it works. Eventually I may cover the glider cushions, but it was the only option for the price I wanted to pay. I'm going to give the nightstand a coat of glossy white paint someday too, along with a dresser my parents will hopefully remember to bring with them when they come out.

Her closet

Her coming home outfit

If it's chilly she'll wear the bear suit over the outfit.

Her dresser will go under the shelf

Bumper/Sheet/Skirt

Whole crib

Bumper and sheet

Whole room from door

It looks great Mylene! The pink doesn't look too shocking in the pics. Great job on the bedding.

So cute! I love the ladybugs. And all those little bitty baby clothes.

The bedding is very cute, nice job! If you have time to accent with solids (make a couple extra sheets) it will really set it off sweetly. I agree that covering the cushions is all you need to do with the glider, it should be pretty easy to do! How exciting!!! Have you broken back out the play mat, bouncer and swing and all that good stuff yet? Will you have a pack and play in the living area for baby to nap or lay down?

I haven't yet Cyndee!! I just realized yesterday I need to take the covers off the bouncy and swing and wash them, they're COVERED in drywall dust from our basement remodel. We're putting the pack n' play in our bedroom but we have a little travel bed that we'll probably set up in our basement for nap time. It just folds into it's own carrying bag and it really easy to move.
