I know i havent been posting much on here lately, but i swear i havent fallen off the bandwagon.
I did take some time off from the 30 DS, becuase my body wasnt adjusting well to it. I pulled a muscle in my shoulder, and my knees were in excrutiating pain from the jumping jacks ( i must not be doing them right or something) SO i took some time off from the working out to heal, but maintained a healthy eating lifestyle.
The good news about it all, is that my weightloss has kicked in again. ive lost 2lbs in the last 2 weeks!! Not a huge loss, but a loss is a loss in my book.
Im officially down 7lbs since starting my healthier lifestyle! Ive been weighing in at 146 in the mornings! Im thrilled to death! I never thought i would see those numbers dropping, it seems that i was stuck at 148-149 forever!!
Ive been spending crazy time outside, going for walks with the kids, and then again at night with DH ( at least when the weather allows it, all last week was in the 60's) So i know that i am getting some exercise, even if its not as intense as the 30ds is)
I havent been perfect with my dieting, but i would say 90% of the time i am eating healthy. I have even managed to stop snacking as much as i once was. Maybe my body is finally adjusting to the BFing some, lol. I did eat mcdonalds chicken nuggets last week for the 1st time in over a month, and omg they were delicous, but i felt SUUUUUPPPPER guilty afterwards. I looked at the calorie counts on the sides of the boxes ( i had fries too) and i thought i would die when they added up to over 800 calories for both! I cant believe i was eating that everyday for a while, no wonder i gained all that weight back after i had Charlie!!
only 6 more pounds to go until im out of the 140's again, and i cant wait. Once i hit the 130's i will be able to breathe easier again. My goal weight is still to be between 130-135, so im so close to getting there. My confidence is starting to come back with the weightloss thing, i was getting so down for a few weeks when i wasnt seeing any of the weight disappearing on me, especially when i was busting my butt & counting calories like mad! I have a little over a month until Mackenzies bday party, and my goal is to be 140 by then.
Great job momma! I really think that getting into the habit of eating better is the biggest key. You're gonna be one hot momma at Mac's party.
Things have been going well here. No weigh in at work this past Friday, which bummed me out, but wii fit has me at 1 lb UNDER my "ideal" weight. I have lots of toning to do, but I'm still so excited. DH is starting 30DS tomorrow, so it will be nice to have someone to keep motivated as well as keep me motivated. On top of eating clean, I started a whole body cleanse today. Last time I did one I lost 12 lbs!
Basically, you take fiber capsules and antioxidants that help to leach out all of the toxins in your body. Everything from chemical additives in processed foods to pesticides in non-organic foods to hormones in meats. On top of taking the capsules, you're supposed to reduce/eliminate the amount of certain foods you might eat. For instance pork, shellfish, fried foods, dairy, etc. It's a two week system, and it literally cleans you out (TMI, but expect to poop a lot, lol!) but you feel SOO much lighter and healthier when it's done, and it does a great job flattening out your abdomen.
