I took an Intelligender test this morning

Gender Prediction Test

And the result....BOY. UGH! LOL - It was SOOOO boy there was no confusing it at all! I know there is a much higher rate of false boy results than girl, so...it could still be wrong (it is 80% accurate or so it says). Preparing myself for the onslaught of testosterone in my house, and trying not to look at the baby sundresses at GAP Obviously, I am happy with a healthy baby no matter what...but man those little bikinis are so cute!

Haha, thats so true Kim I think part of me is worried that the family won't think this baby is as special because it's not the first and it's "just another boy"..and it makes me sad to think like that, but I have seen how excited they all get when someone they know is having a girl...oh well! I know that I am probably worrying for nothing

Well the Intelligender WAS right for me (obviously said boy...5 u/s have confirmed I am indeed having a boy). We were a little bummed at first, DH has two boys and I have a boy and a girl...guess Cadence is going to be the only girl in a houseful of 4 boys!

But just think, your LO is going to love having a little brother to play with if its true! And this new baby WILL be special whether its a boy or a girl...so don't worry about that

I guess we'll see in 8 weeks It's weird that so many people in my DDC have already found out what they are having - even via ultrasound! It's so early still!

I wouldn't put too much stock into an u/s at 12 or 13 weeks... in fact I don't even believe gender u/s at 16 weeks, LOL.

I took the intelligender for this baby, and it was so not conclusive.

I always worried about the same thing, that I was having another girl, and family wouldn't think she was special. I will say that my oldest is the only one that really got any of that special attention from family... even this boy isn't getting much yet.

Awwww!! I can't wait for your big u/s! But it's true that with kids of the same gender, it's a little easier and you already have the clothes, plus the bond between siblings of the same gender is great!

Julia is soooo right about that bond. I imagine the bond between brothers is like the bond between sisters. I just love watching them grow up as sisters!
