Does anyone have pain with ovulation? Does the pain mean you are ovulating that day? I'm wondering because based on CM, I would have thought I o'd on Fri or Sat. Then today I'm having back ache and period-like crampiness. Just trying to figure out if I may have or may be O'ing. I don't chart. Thanks for any help!

I get a pain on which ever side that I ovulate on every month. It last for the entire day and it is a pretty sharp pain actually. My midwife says it is when i am ovulating. Hope that helps.

Is your pain in front or back? I wonder if it could be either and still be O pain.

I am not sure, because everything I've read & heard says that ovulation pain would come from where your ovaries are, so kind of at your front but on the sides.. could be left or right. Mine is similar to Sarah's - it would come on either the right or left side, would be pretty sharp, and last the entire day. It does not feel like pre-AF cramps at all, actually, those are usually at my lower back. But yeah, I get ovulation pain every month.

This is low back ache and cramping...it is reminding me of when I was pg with each of my girls, but that was after medical assistance so not easy to compare. I am not sure how many days it takes from ovulation to implantation. It makes me wonder and hope a little though. This month I finally started taking the med I needed to take to help me with my PCOS. I guess we'll see in two weeks.
