Are poached eggs ok while pregnant? I think I am not supposed to eat them but I feel like I am not doing as good at eating what I should this time around and tomorrow we are going to this great place for brunch and they have 15 different types of eggs benedict and I really really want it! So what do you all say?

I ate lunch meat and drank coffee, but I wouldn't go there with runny eggs or pink meat. That's where I drew the line. Have fun!

I've eaten like a million poached eggs this pregnancy. You're supposed to have 2 eggs a day when pregnant anyway.

I didn't do it, not worth the risk I guess. On another note I failed my 1 hour glucose test, so I am sure I will be doing a 3 hour soon.

I was looking at diets for gestational diabetes today and one of them said you should eat poached eggs, so now I am seriously confused. I guess I will ask my doctor.
