So I took a test just because AF hasn't come (took 15 months after Walter) and I have been feeling out of control tired. Also having weird uterine pain. Right away, my eyes started seeing things. It looked like it was going to be positive, and then it looked less and less positive as it dried. I took a picture, but there is nothing there. You can only see it in the light. I have no idea if it's blue or grey. It's SUPER subtle. I'm sure it's an evap, since blue ones are notorious for having them. Do you think I need to confirm with a pink one? The chances are so small that I actually am. And I really don't want to spend the money.

Blue dye tests should be discontinued lol...they are horrible for evaps...I always avoid them...chances are it was an evap but if you have a dollar tree around you, you can get one of them and test in a couple days, they are very accurate and reliable.

I wouldn't worry yet, test with a pink dye test and go from there! Good luck either way!

I got crazy bad evaps with blue dye tests. If you're really thinking it's possible, wait a week or so and then test again.

Ok thanks! I think it could be possible, but it would probably be dark by now.

I've never had an evap with a blue dye test

Good luck, whichever way you are hoping things turn out

NOT hoping to be pregnant any time soon. 2 is PLENTY!

I'm too scared to get the IUD and so we've been doing pull out. It's easy to slack when you are BFing and haven't had AF yet.

Wow! I would wait and test with a more reliable one or if you think it could be positive, then I would go ahead and get one and test!

Woah. Don't ask me about evaps! You know how my last suspect turned out.

I think it's worth knowing for sure. Answer tests are under $10.

Blue dye tests should be banned! I would confirm with a pink and never buy a blue test again. I can't count how many "positive" blue tests that turned out to be evaps or maybe even false positives.

Wow, how crazy would that be?! If it were me, I would order some ICs. They're good to have on hand for the 'what if' moments that make you wonder. Or I would just get a dollar store test. Either way, I'd want to be sure after seeing a test like that!

Dollar store tests have worked out for me in the past, I'd get another to be sure. Oddly I've only ever used blue dye tests when I was actually pregnant.

On a side note, I've had my Mirena for 7 weeks now and I haven't had any problems at all with anything. Finally for the past 3 days I haven't had to wear a liner! So that's nice... I don't feel anything, I haven't had any cramping, it's nice to not have to worry about anything.

We actually only had an oops once, I can't remember exactly when it was. I think it was a few weeks ago, and it was totally my husband's fault. You better believe I got up to pee FAST. I lectured him afterwards about how he NEEDED to pull out each time unless he wants me getting knocked up and bleeding to death after delivering a huge baby. My midwives told me to wait 2 years until we try again if we want to. I am honestly so scared of the idea of being pregnant before then!

I hope it just an evap.line.

I'm scared everyday I could get pregnant and we do not what that now. I can understand where you are coming. My whole plan..school will change becaues I will drop out.

Nothing to do but test again. But with a pink one this time. But, I'd probably wait a week and see how you feel. If you can.

I'll do that Wendy. Thanks! The IUD may just have to be what we do.
