So, I had my 3 hour surgery yesterday. Ugh - what a day. Thankfully, I had an excellent team at the hospital... everyone was awesome.

I don't know all the details yet (my follow-up is in September) but I do know that he says he got "all" the endo out, he removed my left tube out of concern it was toxic and he removed my appendix because it was "stuck". I have issues with adhesions, so I am guessing it was stuck due to the adhesions.. but I will find out more when I see him. He might order an MRI to see if there is any endo in the muscle tissue... we only discussed it briefly though.

I feel AWFUL. I have four incisions and am in massive amounts of pain. The narcotics they perscribed aren't doing much for the pain, either. This morning I am extremely nauseous - fun, fun.

Not sure what this will do for TTC, but I am really hoping for some pain relief so I hope this was worth it.

Aw man. That sounds bad. I hope in the long run it provides you relief. When you have endo you have really painful periods, right?

Hope it can also help you on the ttc front.

Hoping for a quick recovery for you.

I hope Trudy that it at least relieves your monthly pain. Take care and just take it easy.

((HUGS)) I hope you a very speedy recovery and everything looks fantastic at your next appointment. Try to rest up, Trudy, and I hope this surgery is what you needed to relieve the pain AND to help with the TTC issues!

I'm glad surgery is successfully over! It should definitely give you some pain relief (once you get past the recovery period that is) and I hope it lasts for awhile because, as you know, endo is brutal because it always comes back at some point. Hopefully you'll be able to get a good year of TTC'ing in at least.

So we almost match I've had most of both tubes removed (too many adhesions to get the whole things) and I had my appendix out when I was a kid.

I hope you feel better soon, and that everything was removed so that you can get back to ttc soon.
