Does your baby use any funny words for things that they can't really pronounce? Or just make up their own words for things?
Trinity's words:
"Wa Wa" = Anything liquid (I.e. Bath water, shower, juice, milk, rain)
"Eat Eat" = anything to do with food, whether its hunger, actual food, or a picture of food. She also refers to Cookie Monster as "Eat Eat"
"Pat" = her name for her paci
"Oooh Oooh" = Poop
"Ga Ga" = "Da Da" or daddy
"Mo" = Elmo
"Kai" = for Kai-lan
Those are the words that she makes up/improvises on. All other words she pretty much says correctly (Mama, Papa (for Grandpa), shoe, car, duck, cat, dog, Ernie, Ming Ming, etc.) Wow, I didn't realize how many words she uses. I had to cut the list short.
Anna says "Darby" for Dora, which I'm not sure where that came from. All I can guess is it's Dora and Boots (her monkey) put together. "Nigh-Night" is sleep and "Meme" is her version of milky (nurse). "Bebe" is her way of saying blankie and any real life baby is a "baby doll" and all baby gear has become a "baby seat". I love listening to some of the stuff she comes up with!

Jack calls Emma "Sissy," nursing is "yayas" and bottle is baaaaa still. And juice is juuuu. She tends to not say the ending sounds of a lot of words, but I can't really think of them all off the top of my head.

Sydney blows me away with how well she is pronouncing words. I guess that is one perk of daycare. But she does call her toothbrush her "coocoo". DH and I cannot figure out where they came from.
She calls her toothbrush "teeth", her blanket "fuzzy" and puts a -y sound at the end of a lot of words (shoe=shoey, shower=showwy, etc). I love this age!
Christian calls Ethan Etheee
My sis Jo-anne, dodoo
My sis Nicole, giki
Bananas are nung-a-nung
he says toooo's for toes
that is all I can think of now.
Collin says Ba for any sort of drink...other than that, he says most correctly, or tries to. O-car for Oscar is the funniest one to me, just the way he says it...so slowly.
He has picked up more and more everyday, it's so fun!
Amelia says Gubba Gubba for Yo Gabba Gabba, she says, Dooooce for juice, if you say one... she says dooo reeeee. And she says ready, set go.. but it sounds like re, se, gooooooo... She says "Eeeek" for Eat. She says alot of words. Just can't think of them all..
