Cause I'm past 12 weeks, and according to the Rules Of Being Pregnant (That I Just Made Up) that means the nausea is supposed to go away and I am supposed to feel like a human being again.

My child is NOT cooperating.

I feel terrible... I have wanted to barf for at least 2-3 hours now. If it was just, like, passing waves of nausea I could tolerate it better... but this one is socked in for the long haul.

All I want to do is curl up in a ball under the blankets and not move. Did anyone else experience nausea into the 2nd tri? (Ok, fine, I still have to finish this week before I'm officially in the 2nd tri, but come on!)

Ok! Maybe it's just me, but your pregnancy is flyin'!
Nausea for me with both boys lasted into the 2nd trimester! I hope it calms down for you, have you asked your OB for some meds?

It pretty much varies from pregnancy to pregnancy unfortunately! With Danny, it had faded by 12-13 weeks...but with Eric, it lasted until around 20.

Well hmm...I was only nauseous for about a week in the first tri. Now...fast forward to now and I am nauseous every day again I had to pack in our camping trip last night and come home because I felt like a big bag of barf. And I got sick a few nights ago too. It's so random, but I hope it goes away soon - for both of us!!

I was sick for longer than 12 weeks. Alllllllllll day and alllllllllllllll night. It required sleeping sitting up. I ate a steady diet of saltines and ginger ale. lol I had to stay full or I was dying. I think things calmed down around 14 or 15 weeks... then I started the obessive salad eating. (three bowls a day) I wish I could make it better for you. Have you found any ginger root pills yet? You should take four of those with a full glass of water. Then wait 30 mins to see if you calm down if not take two more with plenty of water. You can't take to many so do not worry about that because its just ginger.

Just want to say, it totally stinks to feel sick! Ugh! I'm doing much better now, but I feel sick after I eat every time and things are stick causing me to gag. Hopefully you will wake up one day soon and be past the m/s!

Well jeez, ladies. Didn't anyone bring their magic wand to this thread?

Thanks for the tips! Guess I'll just hang in there.
