Do you bruise easier when pregnant?

Wednesday morning I was brushing my teeth and trying to hurry so I could get to Parker who was trying to climb off his potty seat and still needed his poop butt wiped before he made a mess! I realized there wasnt a towel hanging in bathroom so I went to turn around to go get one out of the closet and Bryan starts picking on me about why my underwear say their color on the back "Pink" So just as I turn around to tell him for the 900th time its the brand NOT the color WHACK I walk right into edge of the bathroom door and HARD! I hit my cheeck and my belly and hit it so hard I fell back into the wall and onto my butt and started bawling it really hurt and just scared me really bad.

Well have a serious bruise on my cheeck like my husband smacked me bruise lol it shows thru lots of makeup and concealer and blush.

Fastfoward two days later I am rearranging the babies room and grab a floor lamp and it hits me in the ankle - huge bruise.

Yesterday I hit my forehead on the dining room table while trying to get one of Parker dumb toys from under it so Roomba didn't eat it.

So yeah I'm obviously alot more clumsy this pregnancy (or my house/husband/son are out to get me!) but I am getting huge bad bruises.... is that the norm? I never do.

I think it would be normal, but i'm not positive. I've always been an easy bruiser. Heck majority of the time I don't even remember doing anything to get a bruise! it just appears to make me look like an idiot.

You could ask your doctor the next time you see him. Just see what he says. I don't think its anything you are going to have to worry about. Maybe its because of us having more blood flow?

The vaccine isn't on the schedule until 11-12yrs but is approved for use at age 2yrs. Our second son received the vaccine in December 2010 when he was 2yrs old. My son & thousands of other children prove that a vaccine is needed at a younger age.
