I didn't watch the VMAs but I saw her on the Ellen Show...Monday's premiere.

First of all, I just hated the dress. It was ugly. But then, when she gave the explanation for it She said if we don't stand up for our rights (she didn't even elude to which rights she was talking about) then we're nothing but meat and bones ?!?!?!?!?!?! What?

And then, she said she wore the meat bikini on the (Vanity, I think) magazine cover to give the message that she's not just a pile/bag of meat. Again, ?!?!?!?!?!

Ellen was slightly offended by the dress because she's a vegan. And, she gave Lady Gaga a bikini made of veggies.

But, I swear....that Lady Gaga is using drugs or something. It's like she's smart enough to have a message but - due to the drugs - the message gets lost in translation.

Sorry to diss Lady Gaga if any of you are fans!

I love her music, but I'm not a fan of hers. She has a beautiful voice. Have you ever seen youtube videos of her singing before she was famous? YouTube - Vintage Lady Gaga Live at NYU - Captivated & Electric Kiss

I read an interview she had, and she talked about how it's all an act... she wants to be different, not compared to Jessica Simpson/Britney Spears/etc.

And as for Lady Gaga's meat dress, it doesn't surprise me. She's known for wearing crazy things, and this of course was her craziest!

I also love her music! My friend has met her, and has said she's the nicest person you'll ever meet.

She was so emotional when she won all of her awards, you could tell it meant so much to her! And when she won her last award and revealed the title of her next CD, then sang a little... WOW, awesome voice!

She is a bit odd though

I like Taylor Swift, but I wasn't digging her performance this year. You could hardly hear her/make out the lyrics.

I love Taylor Swift, but don't really like seeing her perform. I think she gets too into blowing everyone away, and doesn't concentrate on singing. If that makes sense.

Kanye West I hate but I did like the song.

Lady GaGa is fun. I love that she had the soldiers with her and she stood up for them! (You can tell I'm a soldiers wife) The meat dress was fun and different.

I haaaate Justin Bieber!! The little punk drives me nuts. My dad's girlfriends daughter loves him (she's 13), and has gotten Aaden hooked on his one "Baby Baby Oh Baby" song, so everytime Aaden see's Justin Bieber, he always starts singing that part of the song.
