I saw my midwife today, she actually came over to the house for our appointment. Much better than the hour drive to her place.

Turns out the popping noise I am hearing when I bend over are my ribs moving. The baby is really high up there. And the twinges are probably me dilating. That is good. Unfortunately he has turned to face my front so this explains the lovely back pain for the past 3 days.

I have had a few bouts of contractions for a few hours, anywhere from 20-8 minutes apart. They never hurt and they always go away. I haven't passed my plug but I suspect I have passed pieces of it.

Heart rate was still in the 130's. I am measuring at 38 weeks.

No telling when the baby wants to come out but hopefully soon or on the 20th

BTW, I am going to be live tweeting and Facebooking (my fan page, not personal page) the birth

Wow almost 41 weeks! You are doing awesome Mama. I think its awesome that you are patiently awaiting that little stinkers arrival. I can't wait to hear all about the birth! Good luck!!

Ribs popping??? Youch!! I hope he starts to drop for you soon. I hope he comes before the 20th though, that's still 6 days away!

The end of yours is sounding like the end of mine honestly. I had contractions for days that meant nothing and then bam, the 1st I woke up at 6am and it was labor. He was here by 11:32am! I hope you have the same luck. But then again, Dane is my 2nd and this is your second so if we compare those, I was 41 weeks with him and 15 hours labor before he was born

I should have specified, he is in my ribs and engaged lol. Either he is really tall or really stretching out! I get the best of both worlds. Constant urge to pee and bruised/popping ribs
