Sofia has always had sensitive skin. A few months ago she got a bad pimple and kept picking at it, so she still has a mark on her cheek. And now, around her chin, she started to get a few smaller pimples!!! What can I do to keep them away? I don't even know why she is getting them in the first place.
are you washing her bedding with regular soap, or baby soap? I'd switch to a sensitive soap for her pillow and all bedding, really-what else would she be rubbing her face against?
Is she done teething? DS1 was a bad face-picker, hard habit to break in kids.
Eric used to get them just when he was teething and had lots of drool to go around. Danny gets one every now and then at seeming random...however, he doesn't notice them, so I haven't really paid it much mind. I'd try washing her bedsheets and the like in a milder detergent - or maybe more often?
Elizabeth has one on the side of her cheek right now too. We switched to All detergent for her bedding - clothes don't matter to her but hoping the new detergent on her pillow won't bother her skin. We also started washing her face more during the day.... daycare tends to use a baby wipe and I think that contributes to it so I asked them to please use water and/or soap & water.
