this morning at 15DPO, and it was negative. I have cramps now, so I'm sure AF will be here soon. I am sad, but at the same time I'm okay with it. I have been "dieting" for a month now and the weight is just falling off. I really want to focus on losing weight and eating healthy and re-evaluate TTC in like Mar-Apr.
We will just be NTNP until then, and see how things go. We are probably going to try to buy a house around that same time too, so waiting until we move is a better idea as well.
I will be 27 at the end of the month, and I am still young. I only want one more child, so I just want to take time on getting healthy and stuff....but if I do get pregnant, then we will definitely be happy. I think I am really okay with this decision...sad part is, my DH is not. He wants to keep trying now and doesn't understand my reasoning. Hopefully he'll come around

Hope you get a surprise soon. In the meantime, you've been doing awesome losing weight and that's definitely good for the pregnancy, even if it delays it a few months.

Darci and I are both using MyFitnessPal.com and it's SO easy. It really lays out everything for you. I've never found it so easy to figure out what and how much to eat. I love MFP.

Thanks everyone. I feel bad for Tim because he was really upset when I told him it was negative. He really wants another child, but I just don't want that pressure right now...we have time, and I'm sure he'll come around soon.

Yeah myfitnesspal.com is so easy, you enter all your food at each meal and snack..it tells you how many calories you have left in a day and you can track fat, carbs, fiber, sugars, protein etc with it. You also log your calories burned..I love it!

I like how it works in your deficit, so that if you ever want to eat your exercise calories or life happens and you can't make it to the gym you're still on track for your goal.

I'd like to TTC in March/April so maybe we could be in the same DDC. lol

Bummer about it being negative, but focus on yourself for now. I'll be 27 too next May and I don't think we're that old! I think it's awesome you're losing weight. Good luck with everything.

Sorry you got a BFN. I hope you and DH can get on the same page soon... it's always stressful when one of you feels totally ready and the other doesn't. I think your reasons for wanting to wait are totally valid

Aw HUGS...but it sounds like you are at peace with whatever will happen will happen! That is totally where I was...it makes that BFP so glorious to see....but yet if AF comes it's not a TOTAL let down....(well I still had to fight off the "bummers" but at the same time I knew it wasn't the right time yet)....

If you are NTNP then would Tim really know the difference....tell him there is less stress to just NTNP and you dont have to worry about when it's the best time and so on .....you just do it and enjoy yourself there is no stress and you can have a much more laid back approach (lol no pun intended)....

HUGS....27 is totally not old! I'm 27 and working on my 5th HA....but I also started at not quite 19. My sister didn't she had her first about when you had Delilah and then her second a couple/few years later....and now she's 31 and she just had her third....that is the "average" time to have kids anyway....In most cases I've seen! (mid 20's to mid 30's)

We aren't to give a baby milk, berries, or peanut butter. We are to introduce new foods one at a time. But it's OK to inject several viruses, bacteria, aluminum, formaldehyde, phenoxyethanol, animal serum, mercury, squalene and more into an 8 week old? I don't think so.
In order to be healthy it is an unfortunate fact that people must be allowed the opportunity to be ill. I trust my body and those of my children to work correctly against the relatively benign diseases they vax for, and do not trust the ingredients in the vaccinations.
Our choice to not vax isn't based in ignorance, poverty, conspiracy theory and rumor. It's research, common sense, fact and evidence based..something the medical community has largely forgot about.
