Do you mostly buy clothes for your little one's brand new or second hand? Does your child wear a lot of hand-me-downs from friends/family?
I went through Travis closet the other night and realized that 95% of his stuff is hand-me-downs or was bought second hand. (Thanks Ginni! haha). I have very few things that were actually bought brand new.

Like his whole wardrobe is hand me downs from my sister's 2 boys. Her boys are 5 and 4, so as they outgrow their clothes brendan is growing into them! It's awesome The only clothes that aren't hand me downs are gifts, or little special outfits I bought him.

95% of what Dane wears is hand me downs from Gage. The other 5% is bought brand new from either us or family. We like him to feel special too when they get new clothes

All brand new. I would really like to buy second hand but dh will not hear it. Andrew grows so fast that it really is just a waste of money to buy new, heck i'm buying new clothes for him every 4 months!

Almost all of their clothes are hand me downs or are bought from consignment stores. My grandmother often sends them new clothes and I will buy new stuff when on seasonal clearance. Sara gets Alexis' hand-me-downs and I have two cousins with older girls who give me their clothes, and I give my cousin Alexis' clothes and when her daughter is done, she passes them back for Sara. It works out perfectly!

now that he is in 3-4T most of it is hand-me-downs and second hand witch i do find brand new clothes there sometimes
Dylan is just growing way to fast for me to go buy new clothes all the time

My kids wear hand me downs from each other. We also buy clothes that are in good condition from 2nd had stores. And they all get some new clothes as well. My mom buys them new clothes and we do to. We don't get too many hand me downs for the little one here but have at other places we've lived but there is a girl that gives my oldest dd some really nice clothes and that is great!

We have a big mix. I don't ever pay full price for new clothes... but I do shop seasonal clearances for new clothes... and I do buy new clothes online with coupon codes! A large majority of my kids clothes come from yard sales. I often find barely worn Gymboree clothes for $1 each... it's fabulous! Then you can sell them consignment for more than you paid.

Most of Aliana's clothes are new.. but I go to outlets and use 20% off coupons. My mom also bought her a bunch of clothes on clearance at the end of the winter last year that still fits her.

Up til 12m clothes, it was mostly hand-me-downs from my cousin and her 3 boys. After that, she didnt give me any bags of clothes so I bought everything. Some of it is second hand from consignment stores, so of it is the "awww, I need to get this, its too cute" kind of shopping lol

Blaise has tons of hand me downs and 2nd hand....and my mom and grandma are always buying him new stuff. To be completely honest, I rarely buy him clothes lol.

suriah gets hand me downs from emerson obviously but emerson wears either consignment or new stuff. i try to buy consignment for both of them but my sister and mother buy both of the girls new clothes.

Blake 100% brand new but we don't have any friends/family with older boys. no one has ever given us hand me downs. hudson wears 75% blakes old stuff but i buy him a lot of new things too b/c i like them to match.

I'd say about 90% of Ben's were new (off-season, on clearance racks), and 99% of Daniel's are hand me downs from Ben. I purposely bought Ben's new because I wanted them to last through 2-4 kids (because I'd already planned on giving them to my SIL when I bought them).

Esella's are 95% new...noone to give us hand me downs! When I find cute stuff at consignment (or my mom does) we buy there too...I just don't go as often as I should.
That said, like Ryann I don't buy full price....I use coupons and shop sales racks 99% of the time. She has a LOT of things from Gymboree but only because I shop this way...

We have a mix. Lately I have been buying new since most of the consignment shops around here want close to what I can buy new. Cade has mostly new clothing since Aydens clothes were hand-me downs and were outdated.
I love to shop but I like getting great deals so I dont pay full price unless it is a special item (Christmas dress and such).
