I had an u/s at 26 weeks to look for possible placenta accreta, which I had and was undetected with my last pg. They can't see any issue with the placenta. That's good news, although they always remind me that I can have it and it may not show up on u/s. Anyway, our baby boy is growing like crazy! He is now measuring 18 days ahead! They say he already weighs 2 pounds 9 oz! At 22 weeks he was 2 weeks ahead, at 18 weeks he was 1 week ahead and at 12 weeks he was only 3 days ahead. So I sure hope his growth curve slows a bit! My due date is Feb 21st, and when they told me based on the current u/s my due date would be Feb 3rd, my mouth dropped...I'm sure my OB won't change my due date, but I'm worried she will push my c-sect earlier if he keeps measuring ahead. Last time when he was 2 weeks ahead, I told her the tech and dr at the u/s place mentioned GD to me and she responded that he is just a big baby. Guess we'll see in 2 weeks when I take my glucose test. I'm haven't gained much weight and my fundal height is right on though. My girls both measured a few days ahead, and they were average 7 pound range babies. It will be interesting to see how big he really is when he is born. His arm (I think) measurement was 30 weeks 4 days! I forgot to ask the dr there specifically about that measurement because we had a long conversation about my previous accreta. He told me everything looks good though.

Wowee, he's definitely a little chubber! I'm glad everything looks good, and hopefully they won't have to move your c-sec too too much!

aww big babies are fun and squishy, trust me i know!!!

Charlie was measuring 7lbs at 35 weeks. Yea, and he baked for 5 more weeks, lol.

I just wanted to add that i would not let them push up my csection date just becuase of a big baby!! Your earlier u/s are what they should be basing this on, not the later ones. You dont want them to take him to early and then have him have breathing problems, ect.

I definitely don't want my c/s date any earlier than my OB requires. I wish she'd let me go into labor on my own and then do the c/s then. Granted, I may change my mind toward the end since I remember really wanting Mia out when she went past my due date. lol My girls were both really big babies by 2 months old, and I love the chub. I just don't want him to come out the size of a 1 month old and miss that sweet newborn size (7-8 pounds was good). Since I'm having a c/s, I'm not as worried about him fitting through the birth canal. I guess healthy baby and mama is all I should be concerned about really.
