It was nice to finally feel some normal temperatures (50s) for a change, although my driveway is STILL covered in a sheet of ice. We've also been visiting a few churches and I think we've found the one we'll end up staying at. They have an awesome kids/teen program, which I love, and their worship/teaching style is something both DH & I really like. This is a big deal to us b/c we've been not feeling it so much at our current church for some time so it was nice to be somewhere we both really enjoyed.
Lazy b/c Macie has decided for the past 3-4 weeks to go back to getting up 1+ times in the middle of the night. I was really enjoying the STTN and it's totally killing my productivity around the house.
My weekend was great. Definatly not long enough. I got some much needed time with a good friend. Her, Dylan, and I had lunch and did a little shopping. Yesterday, Josh and I took Dylan to her first movie. We saw Tangled. She loved it and did well. She got the wiggles the last 15 minutes but aside from that very fun
Chuck worked nights all weekend long which means I did nothing. Pretty boring but we did manage to get some cleaning done and today I'm sorting through Tessa's toys to see what can be put away.
Weekend ended with going down to feed my bunny and found him dead. So that sucked and hurt a lot and I still can't bring myself to go downstairs to do anything. I think I'll force myself to go take his play area apart (he wasn't caged, just had a large fenced in area) and clean it up so I'm not reminded of him. It still really sucks though.

Saturday we all went to the park with my friend and her son and played for a couple of hours. Then we went shopping and came home to set off some stomp rockets with the kids. They got to play outside and completely enjoy themselves. My husband and I stayed up late playing Call of Duty.
Sunday Alan played outside with daddy and the older two had to clean their room and I had to finish homework. I took Alan to play later in the day and he had tons of fun playing in the leaves and I got a ton of pictures. My husband and I stayed up late again to play Call of Duty.
My husband had to work today so me and the kids hung out at home and did nothing.
It was... interesting, I suppose. Recap? But of course!
Friday: Was mostly spent napping and avoiding conversations with Izy while simultaneously plotting revenge strategies against his girlfriend, my father and other various persons that insist on peeing all over my life. Once night fell, I lazily got dressed and moped on over to my favorite bar with my girlfriend Moriah (who looked about 90 times hotter than me). BUT, a couple hours in and my friend Larry drunkenly (and pathetically) leaned over to Moriah and asked her:
"Soo.... do you like... dinner?"
I shrieked with laughter and newfound energy! The night was SAVED! There were shots that tasted like angels, a Cupid Shuffle and my friend David gave me a bracelet that's an exact replica of Bella's wolf/heart diamond bracelet in Eclipse. WIN.
A phone call from Rob at about 12:30 rescued me from the bar and I spent the rest of my evening drinking wine with him and laughing hysterically at his tendency to get naked when he's wasted.
Saturday: Spent the vast majority of my day cooking wings, watching football and lying on my couch with Sawyer... blissfully happy and thankful that my mother wasn't home. That night, however, I was attacked by an evil virus and my tonsils swelled to the size of cantalopes.
Then there was some wine, some Nyquil... a pain killer... and yeah... ZZZZzzzzzz.
Sunday: Woke up at 8 and pretty much desperately tried to go back to sleep until about 1 pm. It never really worked out, so I eventually shot-gunned a diet coke for a little caffeine zing and got over it. We had company over... some friends of my mother's and my brother + his wife.
And then all sorts of shiz hit the fan and I'm still not even sure what happened. My mom asked me to play piano and sing for these people, I said I was sick and not feeling up to it... and she FLIPPED. As in, spent the next hour and a half cursing me out and yelling at me and telling me to go screw myself. Awesome. yay.
Once Sawyer went to bed, I fled my home without even doing my makeup. Ended up on Rob's couch at about 9:30, he heated me up a pork tenderloin and some rice (which was amazing, btw) and listened while I tearfully told him about my day. He then carried me to bed, turned on some good lawyer show and BAM! I was out and sleeping in about 10 minutes. Awesome. Sauce.
SO yeah... it was interesting. I'm thinking good, overall. I guess.
It was good we spent Saturday all day at Disneyland. Sunday went grocery shopping then I came home and barfed. Went to take a nap. Slept till 5. And that was it.
Ours was quiet and laid back. Friday I worked. Then Mike went out to learn the ropes on working for his brother in law doing taxi driving on weekends. He did that Saturday night also. I spend saturday working out and hanging with Madison. Sunday we went to a surprise birthday party then went shopping at TRU with free rewards money. Then hit Meijers then subway for dinner. After Madison went to bed we watched a movie.
Oh gosh, my weekend was so exciting, I hardly have space here to sum it up. Let me see if I can try.
Soooo, Saturday we spent a lot of time contemplating whether to let Travis nap before or AFTER our big outing to....Wal Mart. We decided he could nap after. Went to Wal Mart. Got like 4 things there, which included pads. The new always infinity...highly recommend it! Then we went to Walgreens where Joe and Travis stayed in the car and I printed some pictures of Travis. Then we drove around and pretended like we had something to do, until Travis started freaking out. Went home, put him down for a nap....oh wait..maybe that was Sunday? Ah sheesh, I can't remember. Well anyway, it was THAT exciting.
