Well, sort of... I have an amnio scheduled on May 12, and if his lungs are mature (36w4D) then I'll have the c-section as soon as they get the results back, probably will end up being the 13. Maybe the 14, although that is DH and I's anniversary so I hope its the 13th. The reason they want to do it so early, is because I had a placental abuption with Kyle and being on blood thinners they just want to avoid anything like that again, and the only way to avoid it is to deliver before I start going into labor on my own. I am SO ready not to be pregnant anymore!!! If his lungs are not mature at that point they will either wait a week to retest, or just deliver a few days after if he is almost mature. I can't wait to meet our little guy!

I did the amnio at 36w5d because of the blood thinners and previous clots and it came back showing mature lungs, 30 mins later I was in the OR! I hope you get the positive result the first time around, I think the amnio freaked me out more than the c-section.

Thanks, I am so anxious about the amnio, and the spinal! I really hate needles! I still have troubles with the shots everyday!
