When was the first time you visited the ocean? If you been to an ocean, which one would you like to visit?


The first time I saw the ocean was when I was 19. My dad was part of Primerica back then and they had a family conference in Boca Raton, FL. We stayed at the Boca Beach Resort (or something like that...I just remember we had to take a water taxi to get across the intercoastal waterway).

I was 3 months old We go every year as an extended family tradition that's been around since before any of us "kids" came along. Ava also went the first time at 3 months old LOVE the beach!!!!

I was 22 when I saw the ocean for the first time. It was the Gulf of Mexico if you want to get technical. I went on my first cruise to celebrate my college graduation and we boarded the ship in New Orleans, sailed down the Mississippi River overnight and when I woke up the next morning, I went up to the top deck and got my first look at it, it was 360 degrees all around us! It was amazing!

Technically I haven't been to an ocean, all the beaches I've visited have been separately named seas, bays or coves etc. The first time I went I was 4 or 5, but I can't remember where. Chances are wherever it was was a smaller part of the Southern Ocean.
