We aren't to give a baby milk, berries, or peanut butter. We are to introduce new foods one at a time. But it's OK to inject several viruses, bacteria, aluminum, formaldehyde, phenoxyethanol, animal serum, mercury, squalene and more into an 8 week old? I don't think so.
In order to be healthy it is an unfortunate fact that people must be allowed the opportunity to be ill. I trust my body and those of my children to work correctly against the relatively benign diseases they vax for, and do not trust the ingredients in the vaccinations.
Our choice to not vax isn't based in ignorance, poverty, conspiracy theory and rumor. It's research, common sense, fact and evidence based..something the medical community has largely forgot about.

Good luck Martha with your homebirth.....just don't doubt yourself or your midwives (are you using midwives??!!). You can do it! As you know, both my girls were born at home and I wouldn't have had it any other way (though Julianna's birth was much MUCH more intense and painful than Lexy's, but that's because my labour was only 3 hrs with Julianna and 8 hrs with Lexy). Are you going to try for a water birth? Both girls were born in the tub and it REALLY helps when the baby is crowning.

THanks Erin. I totally not doubtful of our choice or my midwives. I completely trust them and cannot WAIT. We had Olive out of hospital (free standing birth center) so I feel like I've done this before just not in MY house...kwim....I really appreciate your kind words and support!!!! Yes...we plan on having a water birth...my pool is aired up waiting for the big day LOL...I used the shower a lot with Olive as well....

This sunday I'll be 40 weeks!!!!! Josh already called once today (his first day in to work for htis workweek) and asked how I'm doing...I feel that he'll be calling once an hour LOL...nothing is happening...though I do feel cruddy. We'll see. LOL....I have a feeling this baby will be right around his due date....

Anyway...I'll keep you guys posted....I am NOT going to be updating FB as I go into labor but if it's going slow enough will post here....just depends. LOL.....I have a feeling labor will go faster being at home rather than having to travel to a birth center. I could be wrong. ?
