Are there any particular songs that remind you of...

your childhood?
your pregnancy?
when your LO was a baby?
how about your DH?

The only songs that bring back strong memories are Paint me a Birmingham by Tracy Lawance. we used to listen to that song over and over when we first started dating.

My Own Worst Enemy by Lit. I used to sing that in the shower every day when pg with Hugo. That's the only one that comes to mind!

I'm pretty sure my whole LIFE has a sound track, LOL!

your childhood?
Patsy Cline, pretty much anything of hers. My mom used to listen to a tape of hers ALL the time, and I spent so much time on the couch reading and listening to it.

your pregnancy?
Ordinary Miracles, by Amy Sky. Reminds me in general of my kids and watching them grow up, but definitely my pregnancies!

when your LO was a baby?
It's Not Supposed to Go Like That, by Rascal Flatts. I got this CD for my birthday, not long after I came home from the hospital without Danny.

how about your DH?

I Should Be Sleeping, by Emerson Drive. It was on CMT when we were first establishing our relationship beyond friends, and he said it should be our song...because really, everything happened and solidified so fast, but so right.

I so know what you mean!

your childhood? "Edelweiss" from The Sound of Music. My sister & I loved that movie and also, my grandfather would sing it from time to time.

your pregnancy? "My Baby You" by Marc Anthony. One of my shower gifts from my sister was a CD she put together of different songs that people wrote for their kids. That one I especially liked and became weepy when I listened!

when your LO was a baby? Nothing in particular, really.

how about your DH? Aerosmith's "Don't Wanna Miss a Thing" has always been our song. The lyrics fit us the summer it came out, as I was about to leave for college. And anything by REM makes me think of him, since that's his favorite band.

Your childhood? Diana Ross, Christoper Cross, Neil Diamond (stuff my mama listened to)

Your pregnancy? Nothing in particular, I guess. I listened to Enya a lot at night with both boys and let them listen too, but Enya in general doesn't remind me of being pregnant.

When your LO was a baby? During the car ride home from the hospital with both boys, DH had Beautiful Day (U2) playing as soon as he turned the engine over. It's one of 'our songs' and was so sweet of him to think of playing that song when bringing our newborns home.

How about your DH? Beautiful Day, Let's Stay Together (Al Green), and any Johnny Cash song

your pregnancy? nothing really comes to mind...

when your LO was a baby? Better Together by Jack Johnson. I used to listen to it every day on my way to the hospital to spend the day sitting with Jack.

how about your DH? George Strait!
