We have one but it's homemade. If you get one, a lid is a very good idea. That way stray cats can't poop in it, the leaves can't fall in it and fill it with weeds and compost and the sand doesn't get wet (although that isn't a huge deal).

Yes, a lid is a must!!! I would never have a sandbox that didn't have a lid!

My mom gave us one of those turtle sandboxes. It's pretty inexpensive and the girls LOVE it. I would recommend it.

I'd definitely go with a lid if you get one! We don't have one (the idea of a sandbox and CIs is SCARY) but I had one as a kid, and I loved it!

We have a hand me down from our neighbor and Cooper loves it. A lid is a must as the other ladies have said.

Mia got this one for her first birthday Step2 Naturally Playful Sandbox - Step2 - Toys "R" Us and she loves it. It comes with a lid that I agree is a must have.

I recommend this one.
Step2 Play Up Adjustable Sand & Water Table - Step2 - Toys "R" Us
We have the slightly older model but it's going on year 3 and it's great.

My parents have the same one at their house for Ben and we just put sand in both sides...and then bring water in later. He loves it!
