We have a gate in between the kitchen and living room. Jack usually wakes up before everyone else and will sneak in the kitchen and help himself to food. Cookies, peanut butter, pretzels...the list goes on. It's SO irritating to find a half eaten jar of PB in his bed! We can't seem to get him to stop going in the kitchen.

He usually refuses dinner, so I thought that might have been the problem. But even when he does eat dinner...he nabs food from the kitchen!

LOL! What a creative little guy!!! We keep everything up so high that Danny can't help himself, but he has certainly tried many times.

Haha! So clever! He probably just knows its not something you are going to let him have too often so he needs to get it while you aren't looking.

My girls won't get food without me, so I don't really know what I'd do if they did. I would probably have consequences for it, because I sorta feel like getting into the kitchen unsupervised isn't safe.

Mine don't do that, lol. They sometimes wake up and just walk down the hall to the living room to watch TV or play while DH and I get up, get dressed, etc. But they never even go into the kitchen... they just wait until I announce breakfast is ready.

Heeehee! Does he climb over the gate...or...? You could put latches on the cupboards.

He OPENS the gate! We've put latches on the cabinets but they don't work well and can easily be pulled open. If he wants to get into a cabinet, he'll climb up on a chair and get what he wants. It's so irritating.
