A lot of girls said that they use credit cards to pay for all their monthly expenses and then pay the card off -entirely- at the end of the month because of the rewards points.

Can you share what a good card -for points- would be? Do you pay an annual fee to have a card with rewards?

I think this plan makes a ton of sense!

I do that with my Upromise MasterCard. It basically pays the interest on my student loan.

I get about 400 bucks a year through Costco Amex, plus the 2% cashback from Costco, my guesstimate would be around $700 year for both. My APR is 7.5 % and there is no annual fee.

When Kyle and I did this we had the Amex gold card and for business another Amex card. One gave us "points" that could be used for anything through the Amex site...travel/hotels/items/etc. The business one gave cash back which was credited to the bill.
