My appointment is tomorrow!!!
I HOPE they will do an ultrasound, although I'm not sure it's standard everywhere so I'm not getting my hopes up. Judging by how nauseous I am now I am not worried about this nugget.

Congrats~!! Only 2 days for me. Very excited.. but very too. The doctor called in some nausea medicine for me. Since I can't keep the room from spinning, I am throwing up now.. but just picked up my prescription so we shall see if it helps. I was a bit nauseated before the dizziness started, but now no amount of saltines or ginger ale in the world will make it better.

I guess this is all good stuff.. and helps me feel like this pregnancy is moving forward well.

The dizziness must be maddening. I'd make sure your BP isn't too low, your iron levels are good and rule out any other causes. I've heard it's a form of morning sickness. Sounds awful.

Good luck at your first appointments!!!

I asked the pharmacy tech for a bp check, but they didn't have a bp station. I will check it this evening at the grocery store (odd place, but they have a bp station). The medicine helped so much on the nausea. The spinning is still there, but I am not near as sick over it. I hope it is very temporary!

Thank you!

Glad you got the meds. Hope things get better for you. I'm sticking to cereal, bagels and apples. Trying pizza tonight. Can't imagine anything else.

We have a healthy heartbeat!!!

Unfortunately I got very lost and was 10 minutes late and the DR wouldn't see me.
But the ultrasound tech did an ultrasound to confirm. He/she was measuring 6 weeks 3 days and had a good heart beat. Everything looked good. So relieved!

Boo for the bad doctor.. but for a good heartbeat and an ultrasound!! Can I ask what the heartbeat was? I am trying to figure out what to expect tomorrow.

So happy for you!!

You know she said the heartbeat was great and I didn't ask. I'm not one to obsess over the numbers so I just trusted her and let it go. I am curious but I think it's best that I just trusted her judgement. She seemed thorough enough, she said it looked good but wanted to get the rate and measured it and said it was great.

I can understand that. I guess I am just a little scared. But it will all be fine!! I am so glad everything is ok with your baby. I am glad the spotting ended up being nothing to worry about!

Thank you Gillian! I am so excited. As of right now.. 23 hours and 56 minutes!

Will you be adjusting your EDD?

Did they reschedule you?

Thanks Gillian!

Well she said that it was 6 weeks 3 days give or take a few days, so I'm going to stay with my due date because we only DTD once and it was the last day of my EWCM and I was totally dried up the next day so I don't think I Oed 3 days after that... Plus, I got a BFP 10 days later. By her date I would have gotten a bfp at 7 dpo and I think that's unlikely.

My boys were not ever exact this early either. I don't rely on ultrasounds as the word of god. But the tech did put me down as edd 10/29.

I am excited for you tomorrow. Did you have a loss after hearing a heartbeat? I'm sure they will be honest and tell you if it's healthy or not.

Thank you. I know you know your body well.. you have proved that time and again! The doctors have to go with their science and estimates I guess..

Thank you! I am excited too. Yes, I did have a loss after a heartbeat. But I knew it wasn't going well. I knew in my heart it wasn't meant to be. I don't know how I knew.. i just did. But this time, I feel like this child is meant to be mine.

Was the heart rate weak that time?
I feel so good about you.

Yes. I was trying to find my thread on it, but I can't find it.. and that is probably best. It was a sad one. I think the heartbeat was 95 or 100, but no more than that. I knew it was a weak little thing and I knew it wasn't going to make it.
