Tommy had his kindergarten screening today.
It's really a misnomer, because it's not that focused on kindergarten. It's more screening that is done in our school district for kids between age 3 & 4, for vision, hearing, and developmental milestones, to ensure that no early interventions are necessary. On the developmental items, Tommy didn't do as well as I remember his big sister doing, but that wasn't surprising--and overall he still did great. He had to get 18 points to "pass," and he scored 30. (I don't know what the max was... maybe 40?)
He also got measured. He is 43" tall and 49.5 pounds. Still continuing on pace for "above 95%" on both. Just affirms how frequently strangers think he and his big sister (age 6!) are twins! (She's definitely taller than him, but not that much... and I think she weighs 50 pounds! So they are within ~2 inches & 1 pound of each other yet 2.5 years apart!
