Do you play an instrument? If so, which one?

It's on my bucket list to learn an instrument. I am thinking piano though I'd REALLY love to learn how to play a fiddle or banjo or some other 'folk music' related instrument!

I play piano. I went to college for it. Back then, I wanted to become a music professor at a university, but totally lost my motivation for it. I graduated with honors, but never did anything with it.

I played the drums when I was a kid, but haven't much played in years so I checked that I don't play any.
I have two guitars (one bass) but can only play the beginning of Smoke on the Water. My dad collects and plays guitar, but I have never learned how to very well.
I wish I could really play something. I love music, but am not good at keeping tune - that's why the drums were best for me!

I play... a lot of instruments. Easiest/most comfortable: tenor sax. Most fun: steelpan.

My next challenge is a banjo-mandolin. We found it when we were cleaning out my great-grandfather's house after he died a few years ago. It's about ninety years old with the original head still on it, so I'm a little hesitant to bring it into a house with a three-year old. It's living in my mom's closet for the time being.

I play piano, and sing. I also play soprano recorder and can do some African drumming, which are both things I teach in my general music classes.

I can sort of read music and could badly plunk out a song on the piano if I tried, but my mom didn't want to pay for piano lessons and never encouraged me to practice so I stopped after about 6 months of lessons.

I do plan on having the boys learn to play piano and I hope they will select and instrument once in school.

Adam will be starting lessons this winter.

I can play piano. I took lessons as a kid/teen and still play every now and then.
