Abby's newest phrase is "No fair!" complete with pouty lip and attitude. It drives me crazy.

Is there anything your kiddo is saying or doing lately that makes you wanna pull your hair out?

Lily says the same thing! It drives me bonkers as well hearing "not fair!" and "it's not fair that Violet gets that", etc all day long.

I think Lily picked it up from a Ni Hao, Kai-Lan episode. I just remember one of the characters (I think the koala) being upset about something not being fair.

We had to stop watching Ni Hao, Kai-Lan because Jonah would only pick up on the negative behaviors, the fits and tantrums that the characters throw, and not catch on to the part of the show where they resolve the problem!

His current annoying thing happens at bedtime. If he drops something out of his bed, or if we just forgot to pick it up and give it to him before we shut the door, he will get out of his bed, come find us, cry and throw a huge fit, and when he finally calms down enough to tell us what he wants we say "where is it?" and he says "next to my bed!" Wellllll..... why can't he just pick it up and get back in bed???? It makes no sense to me

It's a toss up between just flat out telling me "no" when I tell him to do something or when he tells me "you go to timeout."

Ugh, Lucy tells me to go to time-out, too! Only once in a while, and usually when I deserve it (like lose my temper and yell). Leigh says "No fair!" and I think she got it from Ni Hao Kai Lan, too, lol! But she doesn't say it very often.

But the worst is the drama queen routine. Leigh is the pro at this. If anything happens to hurt her feelings, she slumps her shoulders, drops her head, slinks off to a corner somewhere to cry/sulk & curls up in fetal position.

The worst for Lucy is the shrieking. She shrieks a lot for many different reasons. It's so loud, I hate it!

Dominic has become so whiny the last few weeks. I hate when he choose to start crying instead of using words. Half the time I have no idea why he's throwing a fit until after he calms down. Ugh!
