I had Cooper answer questions about DH and all the grandpas which I will give to them from him.
Haha, I did the same thing with Leah! I still have to type it up but I thought that would be fun after reading all our kiddos' responses about mamas. Leah & I also worked on a card yesterday from an idea I got from Pinterest - I printed out a Superman coloring page, Leah colored it, and then we pasted DH's face on Superman's.
My FIL also found a cute shirt that says something about a dad being a superhero, so he's mailing that down for Leah to give my DH.
Natasha lost her balance from laughter (her paint covered foot was very funny!), so her footprint is all weird, BUT being as I did Veronika's and the baby's while she was in school, I wasn't about to re-do it all!
I also got him a coffee mug with a recent photo of him and the kids
Probably that's it... Maybe I'll make a cake or something. Low-key.
I'm going to get Dh a case to hold this baseball bat. He has been asking for quite some time for one. But we are also going to make cards and do something with either their hands or feet. I am also making my Dad a shirt with the kids hand prints.
Not sure what we'll be doing that day, but the boys (including Grey with my help) made DH a "Thumb-bunny Loves You" card (using their thumbprints to make bunny face and ears). I also asked Brennan and Jamie a few questions like what their favorite thing to do with Daddy is, etc. and will print those and put them in their cards. And I took pictures of them each holding a letter (D-A-D) and will put them in a 3-frame picture frame.
I may try the handprint tree or something personalized. My DH just picked out some new boots that the wanted and we will call that his present. We got a long sleeved swim shirt for my FIL, but I still have to buy for my Dad and stepdad...it is exhausting to figure it all out!
I want to do a craft with the kids for Paul this week, and I am also going to get him a fire pit. We have been talking about having one for a while now, and I'd like to just get it so we can enjoy it this summer.
