Well we're finding out the gender on Black Friday. So it's off to Gymboree after the ultrasound if the baby cooperates!! That is probably all. I hate the crowds and bad parking. It's just not worth the madness to me.
We have never done black friday. Ever. I won't go through that. Is pointless anyways since my cousin has gone and 1. They block off all the isles and you can ONLY buy and look through the items that are on sale. 2. By the time you get to the thing you want is sold out and 3. You have to stand online for hours in the cold until they open the store at 5:00AM or midnight. The only thing that comes close to Black Friday is when I have stood on line with my husband for an hour or two until they open gamestop at midnight for a new release game. But it's always orderly mannered unlike the savages that push people down to get something half off. I mean, to me...it's not even that serious, if you REALLY wanted the item that bad you would have bought it at regular price already. I don't know about other states but in NY they Black Friday lasted 2 weeks last year. They had black friday starting at 8PM the day of Thanksgiving, then they would have other items on sale at midnight, then again 5AM on friday morning, then the weekend door busters, then cyber Monday then etc, etc.....that lasted for a FULL 2 weeks, I kept on getting e-mails, flyers and when I would go to stores there were signs "Extended Sale Event" it was pretty ridiculous if you ask me.
