Yesterday we had a snow day and DH was even off of work. We had some friends over and went sledding down the hills in our backyard. I really didn't think Katie would like it very much but she had a nice time too! Does your child like to go sledding?

We live on the prairies and there are NO hills around. So any sledding we do has to be on a snow pile that DH has pushed together with the tractor! As a result, my kids do more skating and building snow forts than sledding.

Sounds like you had a great time, though, Christine!

Yes, surprisingly Cooper loves it.

We had snow after Christmas and DH took Cooper sledding several times.

To be honest, I don't enjoy voluntarily spending time out in the cold, freezing snow. I don't think the kids do either.. when it snows, many people in our area just get wooden sleds and pull their kids around outside just for fun for like 15-minutes, but actually going somewhere, to freeze.. no thanks!

We don't have many places that the girls could sled. At least close.
We were hoping to head up to Mt Hood to do some inner-tubing at one of the snow parks. Just haven't made it up the mountain yet.
