Here's a fun random poll -- what do you think I'm having?

I can't decide if a girl is more likely because we've had four boys, or if a 5th boy is more likely. In reality it's probably 50/50 every time. I don't know which one will surprise me more, though.

I have my 20-wk ultrasound on Monday. Our hospital doesn't tell gender so I'm not expecting to find out, but I am hoping to catch a glimpse anyway. If I do, I will definitely let you all know!

So what do you ladies think?

I'm feeling like this will be a girl. At least I hope you get a girl.

Everything went really well at the u/s. How's this for irony: the tech showed us a PERFECT bottoms-up shot of the baby and the gender should have been super obvious but I didn't see a thing!!!!!!!!!! There was no visible boy part so that makes me think girl, and yet I didn't see the white lines either. Plus, the baby had its legs pretty close together so maybe it was just all hidden.

I can't believe she gave us the perfect shot and I still know nothing!!

Oh well. Baby is happy, healthy and very active so I am really thankful for that.

I didn't see the white lines and I'm definitely having a girl! Had 3 u/s so far with no parts visible and the last 2 were "definitely still a girl" per the u/s tech. You are possibly not having a boy this time!! Are you having any other ultrasounds?!

I know it will be so much easier with the baby name if it is a girl since you already had to use 4 boys' names!!

You got that right!! We've had a girl name picked for 10 years and DH hates all boy names!

I'm not having any other ultrasounds unless we opt for one we have to pay for, which is probably not going to happen.

I do, however, plan on asking my doctor at my next appointment if the gender is something that gets written on the u/s report sent to her. According to my sister, who had a baby last year, they do put it on there. So I am hoping I can still weasel it out of them.

Good luck! Healthy baby is always the best news at an u/s! I'm thinking girl, but definitely keep us posted!!
