Have you ever taking your LO sledding, snow tubing, skiing or snowboarding?...sledding if it snows, just in our neighborhood
If so do you live nearby a mountain, make a day/weekend trip out of it, etc? we aren't far from the poconos, prekids we would spend weekends there sometimes, sking, snow tubing, etc....we haven't taken the kids yet
Where do you go? if we were to go...Big Boulder, Camelback, Jack Frost
Have you ever taking your LO sledding, snow tubing, skiing or snowboarding? We ski every Sunday and have gone sledding only once (bad winter for snow again). If so do you live nearby a mountain, make a day/weekend trip out of it, etc? Where do you go? We have a small hill ski area 25 minutes from our house. It's only 300ft vertical, but has 2 lifts and a half dozen or so decent runs off of it. We have a larger ski area abount 1.5hrs away, that is triple that size, but I won't bother with that until Aidan is older. Right now, we're going on Sunday mornings, he does 1.5hr lesson and I ski on my own. If we ever get a decent conditions day, we want to extend it into the afternoon and ski together a bit.
For sledding, we just use the little hill at the front of our house. Steep enough to get a decent run and some distance. One of the schools in town has a really big hill that I see lots of people use, but we haven't tried it yet.
Have you ever taking your LO sledding, snow tubing, skiing or snowboarding? We don't get snow here but we did go sledding in my parent's backyard a few years ago while we were visiting! I'm not really a fan of skiing/snowboarding so it's not something we have done as a family.
If so do you live nearby a mountain, make a day/weekend trip out of it, etc? We are actually sorta close to some mountains but I haven't ever been to them. I am way too clutzy for most winter activities. lol
Where do you go?
