Chuck was on the later end of PTing...he didn't train until he was 3y3m. He was day trained in a weekend. However, he is still wearing pull-ups at night. He sleeps like a ROCK. I can turn on the light, put his clothes away, change his diaper if he has pooped, all without him waking up at all.

So...any hope that I can night train him? Tips? Or am I doomed to have him in pull-ups for a while yet?

My boys are 6 and almost 5, both trained at around 3 yrs. I havent had any issues with them, they both wake up if they need to go.

my only advice is if he doesnt wake up during the night to go, then make sure he doesnt have anything to drink 2 hrs before bedtime and make sure he goes right before bed.

And there is nothing wrong with a 4 year old wearing pull ups at night, some kids train later. it takes time and he will get it soon enough.

btw your boys are the cutest!

Kaitlyn is, I think she was fully night trained just before 3.

He sounds like he may not be ready yet and I don't think it's anything to worry about. Have you tried putting him to bed just in underwear so that he actually pees the bed? That helped Kaitlyn realize she was doing it and stop. Other than trying that, the only thing I could recommend as well is stopping drinks a while before bedtime to make the chance of him having to go much lower.

Tenli has been night time trained since just before 3 as well. I would probably also try putting him in undies for bed and see if he feels the wetness if he wakes up.

It'll suck but maybe sometime when you don't have a busy week, set your alarm to wake him up once or twice in the night. I've heard that will help.
