tonight i am making pot roast in the crock pot with a red wine sauce, with tomato paste and bone broth. i think i'll serve a veggie/lentil dish on the side...maybe rice too since it's so super saucy.

tonight i have a giant turkey breast...well it's the other 1/2 breast from monday's dinner. not sure how i will cook it yet. i know we'll kale sauteed in pastured lard with garlic and hemp hearts on the side. i think we'll heat up last night's leftover lentils and veggies too and pour the leftover wine sauce over them.

i ended up marinating the turkey in liquid aminos, maple syrup, cinnamon, garlic, salt and pepper. i seared it in the cast iron skillet and i'm finishing it in the oven. it smells awesome!

Spaghetti and meatballs. Kinda boring I know. I put a can of crushed tomatoes, some seasoning, and meatballs in the crockpot. So that at least is a little better than warming up sauce in a jar

i am making meatloaf tonight. the meat is local and it has quinoa, garlic, carrots, celery, onions, hemp hearts, italian seasoning and fish sauce in it. organic ketchup mixed with raw honey on top.
maybe a salad too.

some friends are coming over for dinner and bringing side dishes so i'm not sure what else.

Tonight we're having steak fajitas with red and yellow peppers. Abri is sick, so I had to pick her up from daycare early. At least that means I have time to cook real food.

I broke the pregnant lady rules and we went to a sandwich place. My salami, pepperoni and ham with mayo and cheese on fresh baked bread was AMAZING.

I made my homemade mac 'n cheese last night. I used emmantel, guyere and sharp cheddar this time around and it was yum.

Tonight is going to be store bought, something from the pre-cooked meals to go section either a chicken or pork loin, depending on what they have with potatoes and whatever veggie Aidan picks.

We're heading to the Korean market when E gets up. I'm not sure exactly what we'll end up having for dinner, but I'm sure it will involve kimchi, rice and seaweed.

ok, i didn't make a salad, but my friend brought a beet/apple slaw type dish with almonds in it. it was SO good. then we made almond flour doughnuts with chocolate ganache for dessert. it was fantastic.

i made my own kimchi and it is really amazing! it's kind of insanely spicy though.

it DOES taste better. and once you start eating grassfed, it's really hard to go back.

tonight we are going to a friend's house for dinner. they are vegan and gluten free so it should be interesting. i am bringing a quinoa tabouleh type dish. i think she is grilling tofu and there will be vegan brownies too.

I've never had meatloaf before is it good? any good recipes?

Organic salads for dinner tonight with local farm raised eggs, adding other protins upon request to make it a chef salad per person.
