I am ready to go!!!! 38 weeks plus.
I'm now taking red raspberry leaf tea & evening primrose oil which is a first for me- if anyone has any stories/advice on how those worked for them I'd love to hear.
I got my next appt. on 4/17, Hugo's real b-day, so I can spend the day with him around the appt. He's hoping she will arrive that day, as we have a bet that if they share a b-day I will buy them a bouncy house for future parties. I really don't think she will though. I went basically 40 weeks or over with the boys and also the full moon is supposed to be the week of the due date. So I'm trying to hang in there. Really don't want to go to work this week other than the day off 4/17.
Yay! I will be taking evening primrose oil this time as well. I took it with Reid because I was paranoid about being induced again (was induced with Ben at 42+ weeks with no dilation at all). When I went into labor with Reid I was already 5 cm dilated. I credit the EPO, so I'm definitely doing it again.
I've taken red raspberry leaf tea before as well, but I can't say either way whether it helped or not; that one is sort of more intangible I think. I'm not drinking it this time and I don't expect to notice a difference. But it can't hurt to try!
Let us know when Miss Fiona makes an appearance!
Mom to 4 boys and 1 girl
Tanner was born March 12th weighing in at 8lbs 11oz. He came a week before his scheduled C-section. He is doing great! I recovered wonderfully this time too and the boys are still in love 7 weeks later. Wahoo for a success all around!
