What did you do with your wedding dress? What about everything else for the wedding.
Right after my wedding, I had it preserved and put in boxes which now just sit in my closet. I’m thinking about turning it into something… not sure what yet… I would rather have a nice pillow or blanket instead leaving it in the closet.

I have all my stuff from the wedding in boxes in the closet with my dress. I haven’t opened these boxes since the wedding day. I’m think I want to create something nice with it all.

I stuffed it into a hard shell suitcase and have never opened it in 10 years. I'm a bit scared to.

Mine hung in my sister's closet for a long time then my mom finally had it cleaned and put in a box. It's in her closet now. lol! Most of the other stuff is scattered to the wind... We didn't have a ton of decor anyway.

Mines in a garment bag in the back of a closet. I keep one keepsake box with a few souvenirs, like our cake knife, an invitation, place cards, etc.. It's still packed in a box somewhere from when we moved.

My dress is preserved in a box in the attic. I like the idea of making it into a baptism gown. BUT, Miranda was 7 1/2 months old when we got married so she was already baptized.

I want to renew our vows in Hawaii for our 10 year anniversary and wear it again! How noes if that will happen.

Do you think it is crazy to want to turn your wedding dress into something nice? I'm not sure what I really want to do yet. It will not not fit me right now so wearing it again, itsn't an option. My coworker, who is male think I am crazy and wouldn't want his wife to change her wedding dress into anything?

You could make it into ring pillows for your boys to use at their wedding. That is something the bride-to-be isn't too pickey about but still has sentimental value.

Mine is in a box in our storage room. It wasn't anything fancy, just some $20 dress I bought at Ross. We were married by a JOP.

I like the ring pillow idea. You could take a piece of it, the decorations and put them in a shadow box.

I think it's cool to turn it into something else. Realistically not too many people can still fit into their dress, and it probably won't be worn by a daughter or future daughter-in-law because styles change.

Mine is preserved in a box in my cedar closet. I probably could have worn it again before I got pregnant. I think I was skinnier last summer than when I got married. I seriously doubt my girls will want to wear it, but it might be cool to turn it into a hanky for them to carry on their wedding day
