What are your thoughts on the Boston Bombings?
Random whacko's working alone? Part of a larger agenda? Do you think they got the right suspects? What do you think of the conflicting news reports and photo evidence? Is anyone bothered that there isn't an 'official story' regarding the sequence of events and the manhunt that ensued? It's weird how the people who knew the surviving suspects describe him as the nicest more normal guy.
It is sitting right with you or do you have your own suspicions?
I believe the older brother ran the show and was in charge of the attack and planning most of it. I think they acted alone but also I believe the older brother went overseas and received training. I believe that younger brother was brainwashed to believe in what the other brother believed in. I think it’s sad that he is 19 and will be spending his life in prison but if you do the crime, you do the time.
My biggest wonder is the wife of the older brother. I believe it is possible she didn’t know anything since she claims to work 70-80 hour weeks. Those are some long weeks. She also may have known something or seen something that she was too scared to say anything. Plus, if he hated Americans why do you marry an American. Yes, she converted over but she is still an American. I want to hear more about her and what she really knows.
I have mixed feelings. Like Lisa I feel bad that the surviving suspect is only 19. He totally screwed up his life, but did he really understand the consequences of his actions? I'm not saying that he shouldn't be punished, but it makes me sad to see some of the comments I saw on Facebook that he should have been executed on the spot when he was captured.
I also feel bad for the families of the suspects. If they didn't have any knowledge of the attacks, then I hate to see how they are being treated by the media. They are forever associated with the terrible things these guys did. That sucks.
I have bad feelings about it. First the Newtown shooting did not sit right, and now this is not sitting right in the same way. I am not really sure what I believe but I do think many details are being withheld from the media.
