Christine ask about packing lunches but what about Hot lunches?

What do the schools normally charge for lunch?
I think we will have to pay $1.50 per lunch. Though it is only available 2 days a week.

The girls' school doesn't offer lunch you can buy, so kids bring lunch from home.

They do have a snack program where you can pay twice a year and the school provides a healthy snack for the kids, but I skip that and pack their snacks myself.

Elizabeth's Preschool doesn't offer hot lunches, we have to send a lunch daily and she'll be attending the summer camp at her Preschool this summer June-Aug so she'll bring a daily lunch as well... When Kindergarten starts they do offer the option to purchase hot lunch and its $1.75 but they are talking about raising it to $2.00 due to cost of the veggies and fruit options, we'd be fine with that if Elizabeth is willing to eat the hot lunch. I think it will depending on the food She'll definitely try it - they have 2 options every day plus salad bar option too.

Happy 5th Birthday to my princess Elizabeth!

$2.60 here. It seems high, but I probably spend that much myself packing. They buy lunch maybe once a week. They like to do it, but I rarely seem to have the small bills they need.

Right now the price for all of his meals are built into the preschool costs (breakfast, lunch and snacks).

Not sure what the cost of school lunches are in kindergarten. I imagine he'll pick and choose which days he packs lunch vs. buys it.
