Hello, do you mind if I join you?

ds was born in January of '08. He was a super-easy infant but since shortly after his fourth birthday he's been a HANDFUL!

Five has been exhausting but loads of fun as long I have lots of reassurance that all this is developmentally normal.

He is essentially growing up as an "only" but he does have adult siblings who he adores when they have time to visit.

He loves puppets and crafting and he just figured out that he can read controlled vocabulary easy readers. He's also started to enjoy chapter books for read alouds.

I'm most comfortable being called NOS or Spider right now, but I'll also answer to Jennifer, Nicole, or Heather.

All my other kids were high needs infants so I KNOW having an easy baby had nothing to do with my parenting or what an awesome person I am.
