The girls have a Halloween dance at school on Oct 31st and they wear their costumes for the day, there is also a costume competition apparently which I accidentally learned of last year when Veronika won in her grade level! That was cool.
We don't normally go trick-or-treating, I have issues with it. But that aside, the weather usually SUCKS - either rain or freezing. I dunno. If it's nice out, I might consider it, but not sure. The kids don't care either way - it's not too popular in our neighborhood, we would have to go elsewhere.

We have a quaint down town area. All the businesses hand out candy. That is probably what we will do. Plus, it's in the late afternoon when it's still light out.
Then we will stop by our neighbour's houses.
My eldest son Joshua usually takes the kids round the neighbour hood for a hour, what bothers me though is the ridiculous amount of sweets they come home with. They are always nagging for sweets and i'm not huge with kids having a huge amount of sweets in one day. I sound awful lol Halloween is once a year but i worry about the amount of sugar they have and their teeth.
