What are some chores that your kids do? I'm trying to come up with chores that Ethan does on a regular basis. He helps me clean up toys, clear the table after we eat and put dishes away. He does this only when he feels like it.

The girls make their beds in the morning, clean up their toys/room (by themselves), clear their plates off the table. Sometimes I'll ask one of them to set the table. I'll ask them to help clean the baby's toys on as-needed basis. They also often help make meals (not a chore, but this is something they fight over... who's turn is it to help make breakfast/lunch/dinner with me?!)

Carrie feeds and gives water to the pets, picks up her toys, makes her bed, and clears her spot at the table.

On top of that I sometimes give the kids extra jobs for them to work on...one of Carrie's is that I will give her a rag and a squirt bottle and send her to clean the banister and hallway walls. There are always lots of fingerprints there.

I saw this chart the other day too, and I thought it had some good ideas.
