It's the morning after... did you survive it?

I am still exhausted, but that's mostly because DH heard about an unadvertised freebie for the first 50 people at the mall and now we get to be down there (30 min away) bright and early. Part of me is hoping that there are already 50 people there when we get there, and the rest is hoping we get awesome prizes! Yesterday went well, I was only overly emotional twice the whole day (that's like a record now! )

It was great. After everyone went home Cameron wanted to know who had the idea to have Thanksgiving at our house because he wanted to thank them. I'm down a kid now since my parents took Ani home with them for the weekend. We'll get her back Sunday.

Ours was ok - I don't have much family here in Vegas so it was just DH, my Dad and my stepmom, but it was very nice and I was actually able to eat!!! That was the best part ... I would have loved to have had tons of food, but my body was saying "no, no!!". I ate what I could, and it was great.

Next year we will be back in California with all my family and of course the twins, so I'm really looking forward to next year +

I'm up right now pretty early, but I can't imagine getting dressed and going shopping right now .. I'm way too lazy for that!!! And besides, it just got CRAZY cold here in Vegas, so I'm too chicken to go out of the house right now. I have to gradually get used to the cold

well, we had to work a half a day today so that sucks. there went my black friday shopping! but anywho, yesterday was great. we spent the morning at my aunts house where there were sooooo many people and sooooo much food. then we went to df's aunts house an hour away and spent some time there with his family. then i came home with a migraine so that was no fun but all in all the day was great.

We went to my DF's parent's house and it actually went alright until I ate. I just have not been very good at holding ANY kind of food down lately. To say the least his WHOLE side of the family knows I'm pregnant now.

Today, I'm not so thrilled because I have to work, but you gotta love that Holiday pay!

Mine was great and it seemed to fly by. We cooked at home and had a few friends over. I of course over-ate and I'm still feeling bloated from it. After all the eating we played some games so it was alot of fun.

it wasnt the same as im used to. maybe because we didnt even do thanksgiving til today. last year we didnt do it at all in lebanon because some political stuff happened and everyone was glued to the tv....this year is kinda similar to that note, lots of political problems in lebanon so of course they are all watching the news 24hrs a day pretty much. But hubby tried his best to make a great dinner for me, the food rocked just the atmosphere wasnt there. we had Turkey, Taters, Gravy, ColeSlaw, Mixed fresh veggies, rolls, and then apple pie after. Ive already had a turkey sammwhich tonight cause i didnt eat a lot at dinner cause i took like 4 bites and felt if i ate anymore i woulda got sick.

I also missed the Black friday shopping. and we didnt find any decorations today because of the whole watchin the news all day thing, so im kinda just bummed today.

Christmas falls on a tuesday, and of course the Eve is monday, both days DH has to work, so Christmas wont be anything special for me here. Oh well, cant talk about that right now, ive been a blubberin mess thinking of it all week.

Hope everyone has Happy Holidays.

ehhh mine was kind of stressfull....this year we did this whole "combined family" thing with my fam and my SIL's fam, because she and my brother have been together for 12 years now and we're all one big family anyway, so we thought we'd try out just all getting together. it wasn't very smooth...very chaotic, not to mention the fact that my mom was really offended and upset by the whole idea. i guess it's hard for someone who's been doing a holiday like Thanksgiving their own way for like 30 years now, to just give up all their own traditions and power over the whole day and hand them over to someone else. so pretty much everyone was in a bad mood and stressed out.
i had this whole elaborate plan for announcing my baby news, but the vibe of the day was so bad that i got really discouraged and upset and never got to tell anyone. it really bummed me out. and i cried a bunch. hah. i'm kind of mad at my whole family at the moment so i'm just gonna try to avoid them until i can work up the courage to make the announcement....all over again.

We had dinner at my friends house, who LOVES my kids. Her mom loves my kids too so watching them fight over my kids was funny! My husband enjoyed christmas dinner too, but had to leave for work about an hour after dinner. So I ended up sleeping over my friends house and we all went for breakfast in the morning.

we ordered a feast meal from Knotts Chicken Dinner house and it was the best meal i've had in forever. And it was nice not stressing about cooking. it was me, DH, the kids, my mom and my sister. $50 and we have TONS of leftovers. The kids and my sister did a play for me, DH, and my mom (DS was an "Indian", DD was a "pilgrim", my sister was a turkey and a laundry basket was a boat...
