Micah ran a fever all weekend - of course the Dr.'s weren't open on Christmas Eve, so I had to wait until yesterday to take him in. He had developed such a nasty cough, I was worried about bronchitis. Not to worry, he only has pneumonia! My poor baby! He's on antibiotics, steroids, and nebulizer breathing treatments every four hours. Annaliese only had a runny nose, but I decided to take her in too - good thing I did, because when the Dr. put his little ear scope in her ear, her eardrum ruptured! Turns out she had a raging ear infection. She never ran a fever, and never complained of pain. She didn't even fuss when it ruptured. The Dr. and I were amazed. Of course, now I'm worried about her hearing...but the Dr. said she should heal fine with antibiotics. He said it happens all the time.

So now that they're both on the road to recovery, my worries have switched to me. I am praying I don't get sick - especially not with what Micah has.

sounds like you have your hands full, make sure you get enough rest & stay well hydrated. should give your immune system a little bit of a boost. hang in there

Aw man! I hate when my daughter is sick!! Its so hard when you cant do anything for them! I hope they feel better...take care of yourself mama!

Sorry to hear your little ones are sick! Good for them though, they sound like tough little fighters! I hope they feel better soon, and dont forget to take care of you now too! Ive had pneumonia several times and couldnt imagine suffering like that preggers, and with round ligament pains, OWIE! OJ, rest and Clorox girl!

Oh Lord! You have quite the situation on your hands. That breaks my heart that your son has pnemonia. I have had it & it totally wipes you out. Hopefully he will recover from it quickly as will your daughter from her ear infection!
