So, I awoke around 3 am to a full on bloody nose....ahhhhhh. I know that this could be a symptom of preg, but hopefully it was just a one time thing. I can handle the 2/3 trips to the bathroom to go pee during the night, but I can really do without the bloody face.

Blech... Sorry you woke to that! Have you tried using a cool air humidifier? That has been a lifesaver for me, as I was having bloody noses in the morning.

I know this is gross... I only get them when I blow - but that is often. I don't have them so bad that they are noticeable otherwise. I hope this was a one time deal for you - that would be a horrible way to wake up each night. Hope it gets better ~

It could be that the air is dry in your house from the heater and it's drying out your nasal cavity. My DH has had a few and I wake up with blowing a bunch of bloody boogers into Kleenex. A humidifier should fix that!

I don't ever get full on nose bleeds to where it comes out of the nose but I am always dealing w/ bloody boogers. My nose even bleeds after that but it manages to stay inside for the most part. I always have tissue next to me.

I hope that doesn't happen to you again! I've only had some blood when blowing my nose.
