I just had to post and say that today JM was my saving grace at work. I had the most stressful day (sometimes I wish we didn't have holidays, because I have to work twice as hard to get caught up). I was almost to the point of a breakdown a couple of times, and I logged on to JM for a few minutes and it was just the teeny break I needed to get my sanity back! I am so lucky that my employers aren't strict about internet usage.

I will admit that some days I spend way too much time on JM. I just love our DDC! All the ladies on here are the best.

I live on JM, MySpace and other random non-work sites at work, LOL! Im lucky though that most of my job is email and quick phone calls (usually just a voicemail), and monitoring the news. So Im surfing the net all day long, and I just take a break after every big article or email and spend some time on JM. My job is VERY lax about that stuff as long as your client base is happy and you hit your quotas and get things done on contract. I would DIE without my daily sanity breaks!

I do it even though it's generally frowned upon at my work. The catch is that *I* am the person that goes and checks up on what other people in the company are doing that they shouldn't be doing. I've never busted anyone though because no one uses the internet excessively. As long as my work is done and done correctly and in a timely manner, I don't think it's the big deal that the company compliance manual makes it out to be. I go to JM, am always in my Gmail e-mailing my husband at work and then I'll myspace 3-4 times or so.

I did when I was pregnant with Ella, but I worked 3rd shift. Now on 1st I don't. It stinks because I can be processing a file that is going to take 45 min and I can't do anything, if I get caught, even in that situation, it's big trouble.

I do even though its frowned upon. My boss knows we surf the net and just says that as long as we are getting our work done then he doesn't think its a big deal. He is a major ebabyer and is on there most of the time so I think thats why he doesn't frown on us for it. We are just suppose to be smart about our usage.

I am not supposed to. It is really probably a big no-no, but it isn't blocked, so I use it. Other things are blocked, it is very limited what we can get on...no myspace, ebay, blogs, etc.

I didn't when I was pregnant with Seth and working full time. They monitored EVERYTHING at my old job and a couple of my co-workers got busted for surfing the internet too much and I didn't want to have that "talk" with my boss!

Now, I only work part time for my in-laws, so you bet I check JM at work!

I saw on another thread you were staying home to be a full time mommy! That is so exciting. There are days I really long to be a SAHM.

I think I'm going to stay home for a few months and then may have to to back to work depending on our finances. I thought we'd be okay, but now I'm kind of worried. We'll see how it is after 3-4 months and make a decision then. Either way I am definately leaving my current job. I'll just get a better one that is worth my degree!
