I do it even though it's generally frowned upon at my work. The catch is that *I* am the person that goes and checks up on what other people in the company are doing that they shouldn't be doing.

I've never busted anyone though because no one uses the internet excessively. As long as my work is done and done correctly and in a timely manner, I don't think it's the big deal that the company compliance manual makes it out to be. I go to JM, am always in my Gmail e-mailing my husband at work and then I'll myspace 3-4 times or so.
