I am about 4 to 5 weeks pregnant and until tonight have had no spotting. The spotting is very light. Is this normal? Thanks!

I had spotting at 5 weeks..it went away. Spotting in early pregnancy is very normal. As long as it isnt bright red and flowing accompanied by painful cramps your good. If your really concerned you can call your Dr. But the Cervix is super sensitive so almost anything can irritate it and cause you to spot!

I had some spotting at the beginning too. It eventually went away. I had an ultrasound done to make sure there were no problems, and everything checked out good. If you are worried, contact your doctor and they may want you to come in to check everything out.

yep i had spotting between weeks 5 and 6, constant spotting too (brown mostly but some pink and even some full on red blood, lots too). started spotting on 2/3 and ended around 2/10. had an ultrasound on 2/14 and everything was good, saw the heartbeat. had pink spotting on 2/14 before ultrasound even.

it can be normal but i'd get it checked out anyways. you can't be too careful! hopefully everything goes okay for you like it did for us

I had spotting on CD 28, just minutes after I got my first BFP. I've had bloodwork since then and everything's fine! So, yes, I think it's normal. I'm sure your pregnancy is fine, but I'll be thinking of you anyway.

I have eperienced spotting with every pregnancy I have had. I don't know if it is "normal" but alot of women experience it. I would definatley let your doctor know.

its normal. if your worried because it only did it that one time then i have a personal question for you: did you have sex before the spotting started? because that sometimes causes it also.
