Ok so, you must know that before being pg...I love to wear ONLY thongs! And now my bf believes that because I am going to be a mom and because I am pg that I have to now wear "Granny Panties" his words! LOL Let's take a poll..what do think??? I disagree..I can buy pg thongs, RIGHT?!?! LMAO!! I know he's so silly!!
LMAO!!! You can go commando if you want, babe! Underwear that go under your belly can be comfy. Honestly, in the later stages for myself I actually invest in some comfy pg. underwear, they really are sooooo comfy and I wore mine for a few weeks after the kids were born.
I say if you can stand the thong go for it! Heck, I'm buying a bikini for the beach this summer! Okay, maybe not a thong bikini but still....

P.S. If your BF is opposed to you wearing a thong while pg tell him he has to wear them until you deliver. I'm sure he'll think YOU in a thong is a much better idea, LOL.
I wore a thong through my entire pregnancy last time! It was AFTER the baby was born that I couldnt stand the thong. I just could NOT wear one. It took about 6 months before I was comfortable in one again. I still wear more bikini cut panties now than thongs. Just be sure to tell him that there IS a middle ground between thongs and granny panties!! hahaha. MEN!
you can wear whatever undies YOU want! plus...id think he'd be happier seeing you in the thongs than the grannie panties!? am i right or am i right! hehe

Its funny that you say this. I typically HATE thongs with a passion but have a new found love for them since I found out. I told dh to let me buy some undies at VS and if he did i would buy thongs. So they had a sale, 5 for $25 so I bought a pair of cheeky boyshorts, a pair of hipster bikinis, and three thongs...I love them. I will actually be buying some more here really soon...I may even get some of the maternity ones..

lmao! haha silly men! you can wear whatever you want too. I like thongs I have some that are ment for pregnant ladys so they are confortable on the belly I love them. I got them at Motherhood Maternity.

If you like them, sure. Personally I have never liked thongs I find them really uncomfortable. But whatever floats yer boat! lol. Yes, it's perfectly fine to wear thongs when you're pregnant.

you don't even have to buy maternity underwear. if your regular ones get tight buy a size up. though, you can't wear them after you give birth until your healed and stop bleeding so much. and that is something SEVERAL doctors have told me.
I have three kids and I still love and wear sexy thongs! My DH loves it! Just because I am pregnant and a mom doesn't mean I have to stop being a women! I will just be one HOT MAMA!
I'm probably no help because I don't wear thongs. I do wear bikini cut. I switched when pregnant with Josh because I was having so much discharge, esp. toward the end. I felt more comfortable in bigger underwear. To each her own though. Wear what is comfy!
With my first two and with this one...I will wear thongs and boy shorts probably up until my ninth month. Then I'll switch to cotton bikinis. I plan on going back to thongs and boy shorts after I heal, too. Just like the others have said...wear whatever you are comfortable in!
Thanks girls! My BF has no idea about all the parenthood stuff..he just thinks that granny panties is what every pg woman wears!! Yea well not this pg woman!! haha And actually it looks like not a lot of you either! I will be a thong wearing pg mommy til I can stand it!
LOLOL ... he may like this answer ( I know my DH does) ... I only wear thongs, too, but when I'm PG they are SO uncomfortable, but PG panties and granny panties are even worse, so I don't wear underwear at all
