did you order some? what kind did you get? how much are they for you? i wasn't sure if they're different across the country or not.
of course we got some!! we'll get them tonite! i got 2 boxes of the caramel delights (the ones with coconut) and kyle got 2 boxes of the thin mints. pretty soon they're going to be too expensive to buy!! ours were $3.50 a box once they hit $4, i don't think i'll buy them anymore. but i can't wait for them to get here!!! i could eat a whole box all to myself in one sitting B)
They're $3/box here. I had to say no to them. I wanted to, but I couldn't bring myself to do so because I know I have no self control and I would eat the entire box. I'm not joking, sadly.
This is the first year for as long as I can remember that I didn't order any. My faves are caramel delights/samoas, whatever they're called these days, peanut butter patties & thin mints.
I do have a recipe somewhere for homemade thin mints that I may have to try one of these days....
Ours were $3.50 a box also (so outrageous!!) and we (or should I say I) got three boxes. I don't know what they are calling them these days either but what I know them as, we got peanut butter patties, thin mints and caramel delights. I've already eaten the pbp's and cd's. I had the thin mints in the fridge because I love them cold and about ripped dh's face off last night when I got home and he'd opened them and ate one of the sleeves!! He thought i'd lost my mind. He's gonna be late getting home tonight so i'm thinking i'll be taking advantage and eating my sleeve. lol

I bought 6 boxes - and I will be getting some more for the freezer when I go back to the grocery store. (They have a booth right outside the store) I love these cookies!
They are 3.50 a box here, too. I got 1 of each of these - Thanks a Lots, Peanut Butter Sandwich, Peanut butter patties, thin mints, caramel delights, and shortbread. I will be getting more thin mints, Thanks a lots, and caramel delights.
I love carmel delights & the peanutbutter cookies! I wish someone would have come by the house to sell us some! I'm going to have to get DH to get them somehow!

Ooooh, I just got mine from the troup in front of the grocery store the other day They are $3.50 a box here (I remember selling them when they were only $2 when I was a kid--makes me feel old!) I got Thin Mints for dh, the chocolate/peanut butter ones for me and the "Thanks-a-lot" ones to share--I actually think those may be my new favorite though. Super crispy cookie with chocolate on the bottom--yum!

I purposely didn't buy any of the coconut/caramel ones this year since those are the only ones I really like. I bake so much homemade stuff that store bought type cookies just don't do it for me. The caramel ones are like candy bars though! I can't say no to a girl scout so I did buy a couple boxes of the ones with one side of chocolate, I don't remember which they are. I thought my boys would like them for a special treat since I don't buy store bought cookies or treats! (My kids might be suffering and I never realized it : )
After reading your post i just e-mailed my mom to see when mine are coming/ came in.. I had forgot about them. So hopefully my sister will get me my cookies.. (I feel like cookie monster.. lol)
I think i ordered 8 boxes or so.. if they were cheaper i would have ordered a whole case of thin mint.. I love'em!
I am horrible--I ordered 9 boxes from one of the docs at our office. I ordered more than her own family did! Everybody made fun of me! Hey--I'll be on maternity leave--and they FREEZE! LOL!

It's kinda funny, they were talking about girl scout cookies being in on our local morning show. I was totally craving them all day. The guy I bought them from at work (for his daughter) is on vacation and I can't wait for him to be back next week. I forgot what I ordered because it was months ago...Guess I'll be surprised.
